We have some exciting developments to share…
On January 18, 2018, Change Healthcare announced the acquisition of National Decision Support Company (NDSC).

Over the past year-and-half, Change Healthcare’s InterQual® team has worked with NDSC to utilize its CareSelect™ technology platform to deliver InterQual content in an initiative called InterQual AutoReview™. The goal of this relationship was to streamline the utilization management and authorization processes, which today are labor intensive, redundant, and expensive.
As the working relationship progressed, we recognized synergies in culture and opportunities to further combine our technologies, strengths, and solutions to fulfill our mission of bringing evidence-based content to the point-of-care, leveraging clinical data, to improve the quality of care and control costs in healthcare.
Becoming part of the Change Healthcare family provides NDSC with the opportunity to continue to deliver its leading clinical solutions, such as the recently introduced CareSelect Lab which is based on a partnership with the Mayo Clinic, and additionally to leverage scale, resources, and a large customer base to continue growth and innovation in order to transform the way utilization management is conducted today.
The Change Healthcare portfolio includes assets relevant to authorization, and a footprint across the Software and Analytics division representing over 4,000 providers, 300 payers, and 2,100 payer connections. When coupled with NDSC’s EHR access and InterQual AutoReview, Change Healthcare will be uniquely positioned to re-invent a process which today is expensive, inefficient, and disjointed from the provider workflow.
We are excited to continue our journey as a member of Change Healthcare and look forward to a bright future together.
In the meantime, NDSC remains NDSC. We will continue to honor our business agreements, build our business and continue our work to help transform healthcare. Existing NDSC customers will continue to be managed by their existing project manager or customer success manager as currently assigned. As always, you can count on NDSC to be responsive to any issues. Continue to call the same account management and customer services personnel that you have been working with to date.
